Brief HistoryThe company was formed in 1983 by Glyn and Sue Davies, trading as a partnership. Initially the company was involved in the installation and servicing of a wide variety of control equipment for the dairy farming industry, both at the business premises and on site. Both partners had an extensive knowledge of the milking machine industry, being former employees of a leading U.K. manufacturer. Some two years later, we moved into premises at Llanfyllin in Mid-Wales and began manufacturing the Bulk Tank Power Saver, which is a controller designed to build a reserve of ice in a bulk tank utilizing off-peak electricity. Over the years, the product range has grown to include a selection of feeder controls, milk pump controllers, pulsation controls, air injectors, and more recently out of parlour feeders and a plant washer. We also repair a wide range of equipment supplied by the leading milking machine manufacturers. In 1988 we moved to larger premises in Oswestry, and in 1989 became a limited company. The premises at Oswestry soon became insufficient for our needs and in July of 1992, we moved to our present location in Welshpool. We have now completed an extension to the factory at Welshpool, which features fully anti-static facilities, including floor and work stations. One of the primary activities of the company remains the design, manufacture, repair and service of electronic control equipment for the dairy farming industry. We have now diversified and we are involved in automotive products, and sub-contract assembly. We also undertake system design and manufacture.
