Davlec was formed as a partnership in 1983 by Glyn and Sue Davies, based on their experience working for one of the main milking machine manufacturers. At first Davlec concentrated on repairing and servicing all makes of electronic parlour equipment. In 1984 Glyn designed the Bulk Tank Power Saver, and since then the range of products designed and manufactured by Davlec Ltd. has grown substantially. It includes feeder controls, from the most basic to state of the art, using the latest auto identification technology, as well as pulsation and level controls, cluster removal and plantwashing systems.

Davlec Ltd. is a family run business, which has been established for over 20 years. The company is now being run by it's two directors, Susan Davies, Financial Director and founding partner, and her daughter, Nia Davies, Managing Director.

From the A483 at Welshpool at the roundabout by the train station take the exit onto the B4381 and then cross the mini-roundabout. Go over the flyover and turn right into Severn Farm Industrial Estate. Davlec Ltd is located in a cul-de sac at the far end of the estate, the entrance to which is opposite Severn Timber.
