  • One of Davlec’s most popular feeder controllers
  • Suitable for herringbone parlours up to 12 a side, Memfeed D96 available for larger parlours

  • Cow and Feed totalizer features allow you to keep track of the number of mangers fed and units of feed dispensed
  • Controls Pulse, Auger or Weight operated feeders
  • Batch programme mode for programming large numbers of cows

The Memfeed is an easy to programme feeder controller that memorizes up to three messages per cow, which are then displayed on the easy to read screen during milking. Messages include, “Dump Milk”, “Divert for A.I.” and “Do not Milk”, making the Memfeed indispensable if you have relief milkers or someone who is unfamiliar with your herd.

The unit can be programmed either in batch mode, making it easy to enter large numbers of cows receiving the same ration, or in non batch mode which allows the operator to see the cows previous ration and modify it if necessary.

Memfeed has a number of features that allows it to be extremely versatile in the type of feeder that it is capable of operating. The unit can control pulse, auger and weight operated feeders, and also features semi-automatic calibration for auger feeders. It is also possible for the Memfeed to run at both 12 and 24v with the addition of an interchangeable relay card, at no extra cost. Memfeed has fitted as standard a x1-x2-x4 switch which makes it easy to compensate for feeders which only dispense small quantities at one time.

During milking, to feed the cows, the operator simply enters the cow numbers followed by the 'enter' key as the cows walk past him into the parlour. When enough cow numbers have been entered, Memfeed will ask whether he is ready to feed. Answering 'no' will allow the opportunity to verify the numbers entered and change where necessary. Answering 'yes' starts the feeding process. A row of red indicators across the top of the unit will then switch on to indicate which feeders are operating. At the same time, any messages will be displayed on the 2 by 16 line alphanumeric display. This  display has special internal lighting to give very clear graphics especially in dark parlours. All the messages will be displayed in order, and the operator cannot go on to feed the next side until he has responded to all of them.
